La Secretaría de la Mujer de la Intendencia Municipal de Montevideo (IMM) se sumó a la edición 2008 de la campaña ¡Dominemos la Tecnología! En esta oportunidad se realizó un Taller sobre TIC y género a cargo de integrantes del 2º Plan de Igualdad de Oportunidades y Derechos de la IMM, además de contar con la colaboración de profesionales de la Asociación para el Progreso de las Comunicaciones (APC), e integrantes del Programa de Apoyo a las Redes de Mujeres de APC (PARM- APC).


El taller estuvo dirigido a integrantes del Equipo de Comunicación de las ComunaMujer (Equidecomujer) y tuvo como objetivo: introducir y sistematizar conceptos relacionados a Web 2.0, avanzar en su manejo y vincularlos al trabajo de género en torno a la violencia hacia las mujeres, además de integrar herramientas propias de Web 2.0 en las ComunaMujer.
