Silence Speaks is an international digital storytelling initiative that aims to provide survivors and witnesses of violence and other forms of trauma with a safe, supportive venue in which to tell their stories in video format. A project of the Center for Digital Storytelling (CDS), Silence Speaks has over the past eight years conducted a total of 32 intensive workshops in locations throughout the U.S. as well as in South Africa, Australia, Canada, and Uganda.
